What Can I do?

You can contribute to the Murray cause by becoming informed about the environmental threats to the Murray. A small yet effective contribution is simply saving water around the home.

This website includes the Waterwise range of fact sheets, which give you practical tips and ideas for conserving water inside and outside your home, in the workplace and community.

You can register your interest with this website project to keep updated with all the latest.

You can lobby politicians and urge them to support worthwhile community projects.

Or you can go further and join one of the many community-based organisations that are involved, such as Conservation Volunteers Australia, Trees for Life, Greening Australia, Landcare, Wetland Care Australia and the Australian Conservation Foundation.

All of these groups are deeply involved in the fight to save our river. Their websites are described in the Community section.
